Highway 1 is FINALLY open through Big Sur — Get this, it’s been 3 (whole) years since Highway 1 has been completely open from SF to Big Sur. I almost forgot about it.

Berkeley’s Cheeseboard plans expansion — After an 8 year wait, the employee-owned, pie-slinging, collective is expanding their footprint in their North Berkeley location. The proposed expansion will allow the return of cheese sampling. Mark your cal.

7-story senior living complex proposed for Rockridge — The proposed building will replace the old Red Cross facility located across from the Safeway and just up the street from The Graduate (RIP). Obviously, neighbors are not happy.

Oakland’s new speed cameras to begin issuing citations — For the next 60 days, the 35 automated cameras will begin issuing $0 citations and warnings from the 18 locations. Here is EACH location. Watch out.
