Why you might need a coach…

Ask yourself, when was the last time you set a hard goal and achieved it?

If you’re stumbling, you’re not alone.

Sometimes we all need someone to hold us accountable, help us build systems, or just find clarity and set good goals.

That’s where Oakland-based certified coach and organizational psychologist Aleah Warren-Tong comes in.

She’s helped dozens of professionals from companies like SAP, YouTube, and Affirm achieve their personal and professional goals through clear action plans and accountability.

Right now, she’s offering Oaktown readers an exclusive 60-minute coaching session for FREE.

If you’re ready to make a change, consider this your sign.

Oakland’s Neighborhood Sports Club goes brick-and-mortar

A new soccer pitch, café, bar, and retail shop is coming to Jack London district this spring.

Earlier this week, the folks behind Neighborhood Sports Club announced plans to open what is likely to be the hottest new “3rd space” in Oakland.

The plans include a 5 vs. 5 soccer outdoor soccer pitch, bleachers, and outdoor cafe complete with an Airstream trailer. It genuinely looks awesome, and that’s no surprise.

NSC has been busy cooking up some of the slickest local events and pieces for a few years now. Only a few months ago, they whipped up these “Équipe Escargot” jerseys during a pop-up at Snail Bar in Temescal.

No doubt, we’ll be showcasing the grand opening.

Even the mockup is a vibe.
