BART hits 5.4M rides in March — A post-pandemic high. Average weekday ridership crossed 200k for the first time since 2020, finishing 20% above in March. The catch: BART still faces a $350–400M structural deficit.
OAK airport expansion hits a legal snag — Three lawsuits from environmental groups went before an Alameda County judge this week. The crux: the Port didn't adequately assess health impacts before planning the expansion.
